Nice and cozy place. The café is located on a small farm and many animals walk freely around. When we visited they did not serve burgers and pizza. Because they did not have enough people working. We could only order the borrel food. The nachos and loaded fries were good. It is a pity I could not try their burgers maybe an other time.

Amazing little Forrest Cafe with fantastic staff. Wonderful food, great beers and a very comfortable atmosphere. Truly I can't recommend this place enough, it's the ultimate hideaway in the beautiful Forrest (also very dog friendly!)

After a long walk through the reichswald we stopped by the Merlijn Boscafe for a break. Friendly service! Delicious applecake! I will definitely come back!

Being here for few drinks in a summer afternoon. The place is magical, very cute and cosy inside, stunning garden with free animals on the outside. the owner is a super nice and friendly person. Very good choice of drinks and beers. We will be back soon for trying some food, the menu was very appealing (many vegan choices and some gluten free ones as well)

Super nice place with a lot of personality, very nice owners, delicious food, and awesome beers. Dog friendly, well decorated, they have boardgames too... I cannot think of a better place to enjoy a full afternoon with friends!

Very crowded on sunny weekend days. Nice outdoor seating with chickens running free. No outside service, so you have to queue inside. Furthermore, it is cash only and the selection of drinks and food is not very large. Although it is located just across the border in Germany it is targeted to Dutch people. Good place for a rest when hiking or cycling in the forests across the road.

We came across this magic place while hiking and let me tell you this is a hidden gem! Many great vegan/ vegetarian options, cosy inside and beatiful garden outside, very friendly stuff. We had a pizza with goatcheese and falafel burger, both super delicious! We’ll definately come back again!

This lovely little place is just off a cycle path and a welcome rest stop. The lunch is served at reasonable prices and tasted great. The staff were warm and friendly and were happy to work through things when the language barrier got it the way. Outside is where you want to be, the garden area has a a quirky feel to it, but is open and well maintained.
